Psalm 2:5

Hello friends, and welcome to today’s Scripture thought.

Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,
And distress them in His deep displeasure:

Psalm 2:5 NKJV

The phrase “He shall speak” is transliterated from the Hebrew word dāḇar, which can mean to speak, declare, converse, command, promise, warn, threaten, or sing.

The phrase “in His wrath” is transliterated from the Hebrew word ‘ap̄, which can mean nostrils, nose, face, or anger.

The phrase “in His deep displeasure” is transliterated from the Hebrew word ḥārôn, which can mean anger, heat, or burning (with anger). It always talks of God’s anger.
