The phrase “He who sits” is translated from the Hebrew word yāšaḇ, and can mean to dwell, sit, remain, or abide.
“Lord” is transliterated from the word ‘ăḏōnāy, which can mean lord, or my lord, of God, or of man. Lord with a capital “L” is a title, spoken in place of Yahweh in a Jewish display of reverence.
“In derision” is translated from the Hebrew word lāʿaḡ, which can mean to mock, deride, or ridicule.
